Integrations & Evidence Sources
Examine autonomous activity across external systems while preserving where each observation originated.
Sockets are evidence interfaces and adapters: they translate observations from a controlled boundary into APP-compatible evidence. The categories below describe architectural interfaces, not a catalogue of verified operational connectors. Source access, adapter implementation and verification conditions must be established for each deployment.
Socket Contract
#socket-contractEach socket should expose source, observation type, APP mapping, evidence produced, verification capability and implementation-specific availability.

VERIFICATION CAPABILITYAgent Runtimes
#agent-runtimesInside-Out interfaces can represent runtime identity, principal context, delegation, intent and tool activity. Independently verify each source's trust and observation scope.
Payment Infrastructure
#payment-infrastructurePayment gateways and provider interfaces can supply request, response and execution observations. Instruction, execution and settlement remain independent evidence claims.
Digital Assets
#digital-assetsWallet, custody and ledger boundaries can supply signing, submission, execution and finality evidence. A submitted transaction is not automatically a final financial outcome.
API / MCP
#api-mcpAPI gateways, OpenAPI-described services, MCP tool boundaries and A2A exchanges expose different observation contexts. An interface specification alone is not proof of a working APP adapter.
Cloud Infrastructure
#cloud-infrastructureService boundaries, egress and execution providers can supply independently scoped operational evidence without assuming full ecosystem visibility.
Observability
#observabilityOpenTelemetry traces and other telemetry can provide source observations and correlation context. Shared timing or trace metadata does not automatically establish authority or causality.
Local Operation
#local-operationA socket enriches the evidence plane; it is not a requirement that every participant integrate with APP before the local boundary can represent useful state.
